In the winter, Red offers skiing and snowboarding on 83 runs spread across two stellar mountains that feature everything from wide-open groomers to steep, powder-filled bowls. Red has received the honor of being voted Canada's Best Tree Skiing three years running by Ski Canada Magazine, and with more than 1,685 skiable acres and 800 meters (2,900 feet) of vertical terrain serviced by six total lifts, there's a lot to explore at Red. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and Can and Heli skiing are also available at Red. 120 acres of new intermediate terrain has just opened for the 2006-07 season.

In the summer, Red offers hiking and mountain biking including the region's only lift accessed Bed Park. Other activities in the Rossland area include golf, fishing, and road bicycle riding.

Rossland and Red Mountain Resort are accessible by luxury shuttle from Spokane, WA (2.5 hours) and Kelowna, BC (3.5 hours) International Airports or from Trail and Castlegar regional airports (25 minutes).

Red's newly renovated base lodge hosts a 150-seat restaurant and a fully licensed banquet hall designed to accommodate any group's needs. Or, if you are looking for a mountain adventure, Red has two rustic cabins that are available for catered group functions.
