Sun Peaks is the largest ski area in British Columbia, apart from Whistler and larger than most Colorado resorts. With three mountains, over 3,600 acres of diverse terrain ranging from bowls to bumps and glades to groomed cruisers, Sun Peaks has something for every level of skier and rider. The heart of the Sun Peaks experience is the intimate ski-in/ski out village nestled at the base of all three mountains. A wide variety of accommodation, dining and shopping options await up to 6,000 guests as well as endless off the slopes activities from skating to spa treatments and everything in between.

Located in the centre of British Columbia, Sun Peaks is blessed with an abundance of light, dry interior powder, sunny days and comfortable winter temperatures. Extensive, award winning grooming and early season snowmaking ensure optimum snow conditions all season long. (November 19, 2005 – April 17, 2006.) For the winter 2006/2007 season, air access has expanded significantly to Sun Peaks. With new twice daily shuttle service from Kelowna airport as well as existing service from Kamloops means Sun Peaks now has two airport gateways and connections through Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary from all over the US.

High quality accommodations (all built within the last 10 years), outstanding skiing and riding, no crowds and ski & stay packages starting from $89 US per person, per night adds up to unbeatable value for money. Throw in a favourable exchange rate and your dollar goes even further.

Sun Peaks boast some of the most genuine and friendly locals you'll find anywhere – so much so our people have won awards. And where else can you ski with Olympic Champion and Canada's Female Athlete of the Millennium, Nancy Greene Raine?

If you have skied or boarded at Sun Peaks, please feel free to share your experiences.

My family and i have been to Sun peaks several times and absolutely LOVE it. I would recommend Sun pieks as the number 1 place to go skiing, snowboarding or even just for a holiday.

My first BC Ski experience was at here, we lucked into a huge snow storm, Epic run and deep pow, I stayed in the tree for most of my vacation.

This is one of my favorite ski areas - great long runs with really short lift lines. Lots of options for run selection and best of all, the novices have their own mountain!

Best opening since 1997. TONS of fresh, dry powder, a smokin' new chair and some new terrain make this one of the best seasons on record at SP.
