The stats say it all; Whistler Blackcomb has the highest vertical, the most skiable terrain, and the
best and most accessible backcountry. The rugged, glaciated mountains of BC's Coast Range are
a world unto themselves and paradise to snow-obsessed skiers and riders.
Drop into the Peak to Creek area on the west side of Whistler Mountain for a sampling of the type
of terrain that makes Whistler famous. For out of bounds flavour without the risks involved with
ducking under the rope, head to the Flute Bowl where a short hike from the Peak or Harmony
Chairs dumps skier and riders into a huge alpine bowl with 700 acres to sink their boards into.
While most travel to Whistler with one thing in mind: skiing or riding at Whistler Blackcomb there
are a number of adventurous activities to complement days on the mountain - activities people of
all ages and abilities will enjoy.
